Take precaution before too late. It has been granted the heath food certificate by China’s State Food and Drug Administration on 22nd March 2008 with approval number G20080132. 2. It owns a portfolio of patent and proprietary intellectual property rights. It was in 2001 when we first engaged in the research on icariin, the key ingredient of Rui Icariin and to date have demonstrated a strong competence in this specialty by the following facts: 2001-2002 We were entrusted by China’s Reference Materials Technical Committee to prepare the specimens for 141 items of plant extracts, among which our specimen for icariin has been appointed as the national standard with filing number GSB 11-1497-2002. 2003-2005 Zhejiang University and us were commissioned jointly by China’s Ministry of Technology (as stated in its “the tenth five-year plan for technology advancement”) to undertake a research on the quality standard for icariin extract as valuable ingredient of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the findings of which had received positive comments from evaluation committee at the end of 2005. 2005-2009 We lodged a patent application for the processing technique of icariin in October 2005. Our application was eventually approved in July 2009 by China’s State Intellectual Property Office with a protection period of 20 years (Patent No.ZL200510061251.1). The established track record is the best testimony to our research strength and quality excellence.
